About Eric, Orchestorm
Meet Eric E. Britt, a composer for video games, film, and concert hall. His latest project is the highly anticipated Starship Simulator, a project for which his work for the game has been featured on IGN, among other established game news outlets.
Recently released to his portfolio is the film Homo Ignarus, a short film with an overwhelmingly positive reception and over a dozen awards to back it up. Eric's composing started in the early 2010s at Elmhurst University, where he studied Music Composition under the guidance of Dr. David DeVasto. At the university, he was able to hear several of his original works performed by professional chamber ensembles. Two of his compositions won competitions and were published in the MiddleWestern Voice Journal. In 2018, he graduated and immediately started as a game composer, signing on to score Underspace just one month after finishing his degree. Since then, he has composed music for a number of project spanning different media. In 2021, Eric founded Orchestorm Studios, LLC, a sole proprietorship. Eric excels when working with creators who are passionate about their projects. As his saying goes, he is always happy to discuss your vision and the music to complete the picture. |

Testimonials
[Telestians' score contains] powerful, epic compositions of war and triumph. It’s as subtle as something that might accompany an Imperial procession in the Warhammer universe; not subtle at all. It definitely adds to the immersion, making you truly feel like a great warlord riding towards victory or death. All in all, the game totally knows how to create a mood. From start to finish, working with Eric was a very enlightening and fun time! I am not a guru of music, so I really appreciated Eric's knowledge of music composition throughout the process of making tracks for the project I brought him on. He was able to bring form to the ideas I had in my head, and was very receptive to the feedback I had for his drafts to better align them with what I had in mind. If you are looking for a composer who knows their stuff and is happy to share their knowledge with you throughout the process, Eric is one such composer I'd recommend! Brian Franco, Imperial Melody
